 Melee in these rules is an absolute killer.

As the Sikh commander in this game I can attest to that !  lol
Thanks for hosting Jeff  :)

Beautiful table above - great terrain.

I’ve been fighting rebels in the colonies - again! 😬

SABOT,

A great looking table to play AWI on.
Love the photos.
May I ask what rules you play?

Thanks lads.

I use Rebellion In The Colonies by Peter Helm. Written in the late 1980s but solid and  reliable. Very enjoyable and quick to pick up and the game flow is fast enough too. No counters nor markers  needed.

Napoleonic skirmish using the historical part of the Draculas America rules. The allies with almost double the points have to capture the bridge, the ford and the large house. They managed to do it but with heavy losses amongst the 95th.

You should try Fistful of Lead:Horse & Musket, too. Same scale.

Played them quite a few times :) along with Song of drums and Shakoes and Legends of the Old West.
 I own the FFOL Wild West and H&M rules and the H&M cards so I'm a bit of a fan.
Always interested in trying out new skirmish rules especially in a horse and musket setting though.

Some lovely games listed above. ;D

A quick game of the excellent Fistful of Lead rules the other night entitled  "A Fistful of One Eyed Fat Men"

Rooster Cogburn faces off against Lucky Ned Pepper and his gang. Texas Ranger La Boef lends assistance from above;

Baltic pagans attacking a crusader castle. Pagans took a great beating scaling the walls and barely held of the relief force. But at the end the Pagan chieftain stood victorious on the castle. We used Lions Rampant rules.
