Hello, I just joined this forum because I've been lurking around for a while admiring the amazing painting and terrain. It's very inspiring. I'm an unapologetic slap-dash painter...I won't win any prizes but am slowly getting better. My mates & myself have been keeping the wargaming flag flying here in Darwin, NT , at our local gaming club. It's a fairly diverse group, mostly D&D and Magic. We play Crossfire WW2 in 1/72...mostly Russian vs Germans. On Sunday we played this 'Breakthrough' vs 'Hold' scenario. The German Fallschirmjäger at the base of the hill were attempting to breakthrough the village to the table edge, but time and withering fire held them at bay. Anyway thanks for the great site, cheers from the Top End.

While I'm here. Here's a shot of the table from our latest Star Wars: Legion game. Typically the light quickly went, so most of the images from later on weren't great (not because things went South for me fast and I didn't want to take any pictures for posterity...). Still, worth a chuckle from anyone who followed my Elder Scrolls thread in the fantasy board now that the terrain's being used for Star Wars.
