Some medieval fun down at the FLGS with Baltic Pagans squaring up against Danish forces.

Nice looking table - what rules did you use?

As unnatural fog hangs in the frozen air Michelle the half-Orc markswoman takes aim at a Gnoll that has just emerged from a magical doorway a short distance ahead...

Nearby Brenda the Infantrywoman and furry companion contemplate another magical doorway. What is the worst that could happen?...

Frostgrave - Thaw of the Lichlord: The House of Longreach. Me and my mate's Witch warband got the better of the Elementalist warband of our boys (a rare event!). The magical doorways lead to plenty of interesting moments. We have not played this game for a while and it was a reminder of how fun it can be.

That 10mm game does have a nice look to it. The individual figures obviously don't have the same presence, but you do get a very nice massed battle look on the table.

Frostgrave game looks good too: would love to see more of the table.

Kolin terrain looks very convincing! 10mm scale is offered for beautiful terrain and massive armies on a table of reasonable dimensions.

Thanks blacksoilbill, very kind of you to say so. In truth our Frostgrave set up is pretty unspectacular compared to most of the wonderful-looking games on this thread.  A cloth mat, a set of slightly souped up MDF ruins, and selection of scatter terrain (including a set of six magical doors specially made with my daughters) was about it for this scenario - although there was also a separate smaller board for the treasure chamber that the magical doors could lead to. Rather than hog this thread I plan to post more on the Frostgrave board, but here is a view of the main area as we were setting up:

Simple but effective!

Nope. Straight outta the box. Made some Joker options as usual to trigger events.
