Thanks, yes, I'm very pleased with the effect, and of course it's less work! I like to set my games inside buildings quite often and having grass etc. on the bases indoors just doesn't work for me. Each to their own, of course.

The West Shinken Grenadiers hotly contest the bridge with the 1nd Line from the Kingdom of Tartiflette.  28mm ImagiNations game using OHW Horse and Musket rules played via video link.  Bit clunky but great fun despite the fact my Shinken boys took a hammering in Scenario 12.

A game of Ludus Gladiatorus. Caladus won but it was very close as at one point he was attacked by two other gladiators at the same time. Great game!

The two Little Fish have been getting bits and pieces from the Warhammer Conquest magazine series for the last few months and have been enjoying painting them. Today they  ran a game with each having a parent as a sidekick:



All miniatures were painted by the two of them (aged  7 and 10 as of Saturday) filled out with some of my old stuff.








I'm pretty sure that the rules were not followed as closely as they might have been but, hey, they enjoyed it which is what matters.
