What is the orange creature to the right of the pillar?  Looks like it would fit nicely in Zona Alfa, Kontraband, Cthulhu Invictus etc!

Saturday afternoon with two grandsons.







The two eldest came over Saturday afternoon, raided the game group’s snack shelves and fridge, and started right in trash talking how they were going to beat my Ork Kommandos to a pulp because they always win and I’m so terrible at this game stuff.

The long-awaited resumption of tabletop hostilities with my mate Chris: Some AWI Sharp Practice 2 action.

American forces escorting supplies, as a British light infantry group try to cut them off.



My Colonials were doing OK until the commander got wounded.  Followed by 2 turns without his card coming out. Just as the British artillery and line opened up, pounding my Continental infantry whilst a freak downpour spoilt their powder! Oh, and a wagon that seemed to have square wheels.... Still great to be back playing again

Nice to see so many really gorgeous games. It is a bit like going to a convention but without the socializing part. I think after more than a year without conventions you are happy to keep in touch in this way..

I agree.  Fortunately though, we had a real convention 14-15 May.  Drums at the Rapids at Fort Meigs in Ohio, USA.

The first shot is from a 15mm ACW game I played in.  The wheat field at Gettysburg, using Gettysburg Soldiers rules.

The 2nd shot is from a 28mm gang war game I played in hosted by LAF's own Mike Demana using his Mean Streets rules.

the 3rd shot is from a 28mm modern game I ran using Black Ops rules (detailed in the "Feds Sweep Narcos in Doubleheader" thread in the "Conflicts That Came in From the Cold" section here).
