DBA 2.2+ at the FLGS on Saturday.  Middle Kingdom Egyptians taking on Martu in two games, and then Sumerian Successor States for another 2.  Very good match-ups, each army won half their battles, terrain being critical in all of them.

Yesterday @ Darwin Tabletop Gamers, we had a 4 player, 100 Years War - themed battle in 1/72, using 'To The Strongest' rules.

It was our first outing and we all loved it and had a hilarious time. Lots of dorky banter and dramatic card play. As my mates are all experienced gamers, we went all out with the rules. Rather than playing a 'vanilla' game, we randomly set up terrain and used the 'Stratagems', which really added some flavour and tension. My English longbowmen never once lived up to the hype....

Played The Silver Bayonet with Lewis Talbot in the splendid LETSXCAPE gaming cafe in Newark UK. First time I'd been, great venue, great game.

Played a couple of games yesterday at the 7TV: Apocalypse Day.

Game 1: My mad Max & Survivors cast taking on the Lord Humungous, The Warrior of the Wasteland, The Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-ah, etc...



Some new compound scenery (MM2) I built for the day.
