Kindom of Soissons Dux Brit Campaign

Does anyone think that you could do a campaign during the rise of the Franks? It was a Roman rump state led by the last remaining Imperial Romans in Gaul and it only collapsed after the Syagrius' loss of the battle of Soissons to Clovis I, which was the end of any major power structure in Northern Gaul outside the Franks.

Due to the kingdom's small size and the short time period, it could make a fantastic campaign, but I'm unsure of the scale of conflict. It outwardly appears that the conflict was mostly raiding, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of info in an easy search. Would anyone know of any good books on the subject? Were the armies similar to those of Dux Brit (small warbands of less than 100 men mostly) or were they more traditionally armies of hundreds or thousands of men?

Right now, I think I have potential force orgs and I'm trying to determine a fate deck for the Franks.

Carpe Diem x 3
Strong Arm x 3
Aggressive Charge x 2
Bounding Move x 1
Goad x 1
Rage x 1

The extra Strong Arm card is for the Franciscas, but other than that, I'm struggling to find anything else as to how the Franks fought that would be different than the Saxons. Does anyone have any knowledge of that? Right now I'm tempted to swap out the Rage for something else, maybe another Strong Arm? Maybe Darting Blow?

Thanks,

Gunnar
