So, you did it again, Michael  :)

Lovely new additions, will pledge once more for sure.

The only 2 things I would like to mention is that the ferret kilt/plaid could be slightly longer and that the squirrel could maybe need some strapping around his tail to hold the armour in place ;)

Otherwise I like them a lot  :D

Cheers Comsquare!  :D

We're well funded now, too, so that's good!

Some more piccies:

And a teaser for some bonus bits:

Thanks Jim! I want to make a whole village in a similar style now...  :D

Well, the projects going good - we've now included a B&B coin with every pledge, and part one of the step-by-step 'raven sculpting' update is now done:

Here's a couple more of the pics from the project:

Good man!

Be sure to post it here when you do. A battle report or two would be good as well  :)

Dare I ask if a certain red walled Abby is on the cards as well (not for the kickstarter, just in general)?

cheers

I'll have to do a battle report! Almost all of our games this year have been play-testing, so it's not really lent itself to taking photos and doing write-ups, but we can do it now the Osprey edition is finished.

As for an abbey, I'd love to do one, but it'd be too big for production. I'll be making one just for myself, though!  :D

Anyway, the second part of the sculpting step-by-step is now up, if you fancy a look at how I torture putty: Sculpting link

And here's a couple more piccies!

cheers,
Michael

The three freebie pieces are all revealed now, and there's another bit of sculpting step-by-step stuff for the Shrew Knight here:

Well, we're down to about 9 hours left on the project now, so here's some more pics, for those that haven't been on the project page yet:

Love the ferret! Hope in the game they get rules for bouncing around randomly like maniacs, smashing into everything around them like mine used to do. :D

These figures are marvelous! I love the beetle-mounted shrew! I'm really impressed by the green stuff sculpting. Do you use second-hand dental tools for that, or is there some secret source of sculpting tools you might clue us in on?

Well, they get 'Fearless'... so not too bouncy unfortunately, but they will happily charge an enraged badger!  :D

Thank you - much appreciated!  :)

For sculpting tools, I use a pretty limited range, really:

In the pic there is a Royal Sovereign Clay Shaper, Firm, Chisel point, size 0. Available from art shops, and various places online.
Next is my main tool - it's variously known as a Wax carver no.5, a Zahle dental tool, and an SG dental tool. You often find two sizes of these; a longer, fatter one, and a shorter, thinner more blade-like version. I use both. The cheap (2 to 3 pounds) Zahles on ebay tend to be the thin ones, and you can get a fat one from Tiranti's:
https://tiranti.co.uk/products/sg-stainless-steel-dental-tool/
Then there's an old scalpel blade, dulled with sand paper, stuck to a magnum lolly stick. Which is surprisingly useful!  :D
Finally there's a bit of brass wire, filed to a point, bent slightly, and glued into an old paintbrush handle. Great for making small holes and chainmail. And that's about all I use, really!

Anyway, here's a few pics of minis from the project I've managed to get paint on:

Only an hour or so to go now, so I'd better get back to it!  :D

cheers
Michael
