I'm with Fram: cogs look out of place. They sort of imply a much more "mechanical motion" based machinery, like a clockwork, steam, or diesel engine. For Star Wars engines, I'd reference jet and rocket engines for the Newtonian stuff, and high-energy physics machines like fusion experiments or CERN for the hyperdrive.
I'm not sold on diamond plate either, as it feels a little too specific an "our world" thing to be at home in Star Wars (they would have tread plate I think, It would just look like something different... like plastic shipping pallets

), but it's too late to do anything about that.
The rest is great. I love the lighting and the landing legs.
