This thing, again?  Comes up every couple of years.  It was my understanding that the original designs were actually allowed and only later removed.  It's a stupidly lengthy history of this conflict, and one which I laugh at considering Harmony Gold (under the meanderings of that asshat Siembeda) haven't done jack squat with their IP for 30 years.  Such a massive waste - one of the great IP tragedies for US consumers.

The Piranha games ones are clearly unseen (aka mechs that were infringing years ago so they stopped showing pics of them) mechs that should have stayed unseen.

The Hairbrained Schemes ones are massively reaching, an Atlas looks nothing like the Armoured Valkyrie and has never been an unseen mech as far as I'm aware.

The Atlas was always a tongue-in-cheek copy of the VOTOMs suit, and not a Robotech one.  The Armored Valkyrie was the Crusader, etc.
