Modular is good as long as it doesn't wreck the aesthetics.  Hard to keep the costs down though.

More turret comps from this evenings session.

Back to more of the larger ships and then converting a few of the "Fighters" to 15mm

More than happy to do the Silent Death ones if someone has a base set I can go from.

I'm, waiting for the masters for the X-15 and Sabre in both 2inch and 1inch this week.  Then all 25 of the fighter ships are off to casting  :D

More sculpting...  Moving away from the digital "clay" sculpting of the fighters and just doing hard surface techniques I've been using on the turrets for the larger ships.

I wonder, maybe take a look at Space 1999 for inspiration on some of the bigger ships?  The Eagles were rather modular, doing combinations of command/weapon pod + main hull + drive module might work here as well.

This is also tres awesome, I may need a couple!

Also, the turrets look good.  Will they be available seperately?  And what would their size be?

Separate Turrets?  Yes, I will have those available before I do the larger ships.  I just sent off wave two in both 1 inch and 2 inch for casting.  So I will need to try and sell some ships before I can get to casting the bigger ones  :D

Also, here are some paint ups of the prototypes from Wave 2, some with the decals applied for scale.
