163 Brigade, Gaza 1917 NEW STAFF GROUP ADDED 13/08

[Over Open Sights]

The Brigade progresses. Seeing as Photobucket has pulled images of the Isle of Wight Rifles, I post some images of them again.

1. 163 Machine Gun Company. Mutton Chop and Footsores with Woodbine heads.





2. 1/4th Norfolks (TF). Mutton Chops, Footsore and Woodbines.


3. 1/8th Hampshires (Isle of Wight Rifles). Woodbines and Footsores.



1/5 Norfolks and 1/5th Suffolks now on the table. This time without the sinister gas hoods.

They are the the old Musketeer Miniatures WW1 range sculpted by Paul Hicks now rebranded as Footsore Miniatures. The website is a bit difficult to navigate but they are buried in there amongst all the Dark Ages stuff.

163 Trench Mortar Battery. GWM mortar, a GWM figure and a Woodbine "Woody" special figure, both with headswaps.

Brigadier General T Ward, his Brigade Major and HQ Signal Section. Perhaps watching the first use of tanks in Palestine. Brigadier Ward was not impressed with their perfrormance.
