15mm Innsmouth "Mutants"
« on: 05 August 2017, 05:12:20 AM »
We have beautiful Deep Ones in 15mm from Rebel and Khurasan.

We have cool cultists from Rebel, and "Octopus People Cultists" from Khurasan, that certainly look like Dagonites.

But we have no shambling, crutches hobbling, crawling Innsmouth folk who are getting ready to make the change.  I think Brigade makes a beautiful line of them in 28mm.

What do you think?   Time to break out the green stuff, files, and scriber, and turn perfectly good 15mm zombies and civilian figures into folks with sprouting tentacles and fins?

Hurricon is inside two months.  I need mutants!

Any surprise of manufactured figs I am unaware of?

Not any that I'm aware of. You'll have to pick civilians and such and greenstuff heavily.

Might get away with it.

"Dagon" type mutants (from the movie) were mostly limping along, fully clothed and often a burlap sack with eye holes over their heads. Textured tissue and PVA/water/paint for that.

Legs/arms mutating to tentacles? If I cant melt and stretch metal like styrene sprue (can I?) then Ill just file a limb into a sprouting tentacle.

Have a bunch of LifeLike HO plastic figs, unpainted.  Some are huge, others small and perfect 15mm.   Some great poses, two hunched over old men in coats with canes poses!  Now THEY oughta be easy to convert!
