Not buying that QI derivation for a second. A ham-fisted erroneous folk-etymology if I ever saw one. I thought they were better than that.

To make the handling of the minis a little easier, I started building a few sabbotbases. At least for the bigger units....:)

So in my upcoming multiplayer I wanted to do something like a convoi thing.
Of course inspired by the last episodes....;)

So I needed a few wagons.

I graabbed some plasticcard and scrape away....;)




For the wheels I used some bases...:)




And the I led the plastic glue flow....;)




A few of the details I did with greenstuff.





..and while I was glueing away I just did a few plain minis.




Luckyly I already have a few animals to pull the wagon.




...so...have to go to bed....:)

Very nice!!! I used to do this kind of technique a while ago, but apparently all the plasticard i'm buying recently is far too hard for that. I remember the older one as slightly more malleable. Do you have a link for yours?

I buy this stuff at a very old-school toy shop with no internet presentation. The plasticcard is not labeld in any way...just the price....sorry.

I feel your pain. I have much the same problem with my modelling projects. I source a good material, use it all up and look for more only to find it's an offcut of an unlabelled material I can't identify to replicate. I applaud your plasticard morphing...!
