Finally! All of these are going on the list.

Now when will you do the following pack with a balding mute servant?  ;)

I think these are just lovely. I am collecting peninsular war Spanish and can see that most- possible all- of these figures would be perfectly at home in my collection.

Do you have any comparison pictures with Black Scorpion and Artizan Western figures, I have a feeling that my town needs to be set a bit further south than originally planned.

As luck would have it, posted today.

Scroll down and you will see some Boot Hill Texians alongside Artizan Texans on this lovelythread:

In anticipation of buying these lovely new figures I have been forced (forced, I say) to buy Zorro and some Presidial troopers etc. Very fast response from Nick, looking forward to painting these and the new figures when they become available.

 :D

The Zorro stuff and Texas Revolt are very interchangeable. The terrain is dual purpose and the figureswork for both types of game.  ;)

On a serious note the Texas War is very gameable with limited numbers of figures, as many of the engagements were large skirmishes. Look at Levied Troop's thread as a great example:

Thanks for that link, a thread to follow, definitely. I wish I could go tomorrow and have a look at levied troop's game. I see you recommended Stephen Hardin's book Texan Iliad so I have ordered a copy. That seems like a good place to start as I know very little about this conflict. Looks like you're talking me into it!   ;)
