Quendil's WW2 Pacific Adventure
« on: 22 August 2017, 03:36:09 PM »
For the Army Painter this year I decided to dust off and finally finish my Japanese army  which I have done (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=101659.0).

I will be adding to the army but I have also started Terrain and some USMC.  I am also expecting some Australians from Warlord Games any day soon as well as some for Artizan Designs.  I already have some Chindits and Sikh troops to paint up at some point so I intend to put them all in this thread.

Japanese Army

I haven't been doing much painting of late but I have been sorting out my Chindits, Gurkas, Indian army and my Australians for my Burma and Pacific projects.  Have all based just need to undercoat them and I can crack on with the painting.

I have made a start on my beach board though

Some more progress on my beach board.  Textures have been added to the board. The mud and sand has been given a base coat and the sea is coming along

Lovly stuff, just beware about the new warlord australians being closer to 32mm while the older chindit stuff is slight 28mm (artisan would be beefier but of similar height).

I have both Warlord and Artizan Aussies and they work fine together would like to see the Eureka ones as well.  They also seem to be fine against my TAG Chindits as well

I have seen the Warlord Aussies and they are lovely,  but definitely  bigger than most warlord ranges but I have not been able to find any Artizan Aussies?

The Eureka one seem to match the Warlord one quite  well  too.

First lot of Australians finished.  They are a mix of Warlord games and Artizan miniatures
