Reaper dragon
« on: 09 September 2017, 11:09:42 AM »
Hey everyone,

Not my usual board - I'm more the flouncy shirts type - but wanted to share this Reaper dragon I painted. You can find the associated blog post here if interested. C&C welcome!

Nice paintjob and a lovely base to finish him off  :)

Weird pose, like he's a 70's disco dancer or so lol.
Anyway. Nice painting, the scales come out beautifully, colours complete each other, great facial expression and a really convincing base. Nothing wrong with this one.  ;)

Great paintjob - nicely chosen colours.

I will however now always think of this model as the Disco Dragon...

The base is very good - where is it from?

Difficult to unsee the disco dragon now, but I like him!

It's a custom! It's originally a car phone holder mount. I made the details with ProCreate putty. The treasure is just painted ballast with glitter nail polish painted on :D

Well, that's very impressive! Well done indeed.

And the glitter is of course entirely appropriate...  :)

He's landing - to get the jewels I'd guess.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated!

The dragon is either rearing up, landing or indeed busting out some killer disco moves :D

Very vibrant colors on this fellow.  And as others have noted, excellent base.  Well done all around!

Great brushwork

I'm guessing adventurers are going to have a hard job 'Staying Alive!' if they come across that dragon.

When the dragonfire hits them they will be in a Disco Inferno!

But seriously, this is good work. I love that base.
