There you go Marine0846, your wish is my command :)

That is awesome! Seeing them all together like that really just shows what a fantastic job you've done!
Now listen to me you benighted muckers. We're going to teach you soldiering. The world's noblest profession. When we're done with you, you'll be able to slaughter your enemies like civilized men.

Only just caught this and.....bloody hell!
 :o :o

That is a seriously impressive and tidy looking force you have built up there.
Bleedin' gorgeous brushwork, topped off with some lovely basing and a tank for the cherry on top.
Superb!

Great group shot. It’s great how the small batches suddenly coalesce into an army. Have you decided how you’ll deal with terrain?
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

I've been painting the US forces and Keith (Romark) has been painting the German troops. At the moment we've had practice games on a "Deepcut" snow cloth but I've recently purchased the book pictured from Pat Smith which is an excellent read with lots of hints and tips.
Pat uses Calico material smeared with builders caulk which from the photos on his blog gives a very good effect and has excellent storage potential.
Here's Pats blog in case you were not aware of it :)

Thanks, yes the book is great, I'm just plucking up the courage to give the calico and caulk mat a go lol

Haha yes ....winterizing terrain is a nerve-wracking proposition! I have two or three buildings awaiting the process....it's been a long wait so far!

Some support options for my US Ardennes forces, 2 Sherman's and an M8 armoured car.
Never done whitewash with a snow covering before but I'm happy with them.
They look a bit messy but looking at photos of vehicles in this situation and they all look quite messy in real life.
