Here's the first five of about 18 figures of US troops to bolster my platoon. They use the Russian legs and torsos from the Winter infantry set, and heads arms and equipment from the US infantry and Paratrooper boxed sets. Not perfect but they'll do for me

Not perfect  ? If you hadn't said anything I probably wouldn't have known they were converted at all? The mix of Russian and US kits works surprisingly well!

Great idea to use the mix winter Russians torsos and US bits, they look great!

Tank looks good, like said above, seems to be just freshly whitewashed. One minor detail if you plan placing decals, then paint green uneven circles as a base for the decals. One can see from period photos what I mean.

If you are going for the second platoon, I still have plenty to sell And with a proper discount of course
