Russians for 1799 in 15/18mm?
« on: 09 October 2017, 05:21:41 PM »
I think I already know what the answer is going to be, but what the heck:

Does anyone make Russians in 15mm or 18mm for the War of the Second Coalition? Basically, Suvorov's campaign, which would work alongside AB?

I've been scouting around and the only range I can find are the Battle Honours 15mm, which I think are only stocked now by Old Glory 15s in the USA? (I know Timecast stock Old Glory 15s here in the UK, but they don't have the French Revolutionary Wars range on their site, I presume because they have Old Glory, and Battle Honours were seperate...). Are the BH15s compatible?

Caveat - I really like the AB Early French, and the Fighting 15s French for Egypt, hence why I'm after a compatible range of Early Russians.
Caveat 2 - I know there are some very nice lines in 28mm for the Early Russians, there has to be some sort of offering in 15/18mm, surely?!

Hare-brained question probably, and I may actually have asked some time go anyway now I think about it, but I can't find a previous thread, so on the off chance I'm wrong and there actually are options I'd be delighted to be enlightened!

Thanks

Rob

Hi

Fighting 15's (AB Miniatures) do a pack  AB-ER01/61 EARLY RUSSIAN MUSKETEER. One of the carefully hidden options on that code gives a figure in Bicorne, which looks like what you may be looking for. There are even pictures and they look very nice.
