Those are some mighty fine practice figures then - those are the ones I've got, and you must practically be painting freehand all the time with the lack of decent definition / detail on them!

Thanks.  The most challenging part is the face.  The heads are smaller than 28mm figures, so you have less workspace.   I try to avoid true freehand work at this point; I don't feel my skills are up to it yet.
