Is there a 50cent challenge happening? If so I think I can jump on in.

Looking like something good to start with those.

Nothing official, I started it, feel free to join in. There are no prizes, just peronal glory and the satisfaction you have turned junk into something useful.

And now it is done :)

Great stuff, Gunbird. From a good find to a versatile and atmospheric terrain piece.

Brilliant paint work on those!  :-*

How did you do the rust effect?

And consider the gauntlet thrown down. I have a piece I got for free. I'll have a look and see what I can do to it this week!

How did you do the rust effect?

A brown paint, a orange paint, a brown wash and a enamel wash, and a bit of sponge. It's really simple and quick (if you speed up drying times with a hairdryer or a fan like I do)

And consider the gauntlet thrown down. I have a piece I got for free. I'll have a look and see what I can do to it this week!

Looking forward to it!
