Fun little Kickstarter campaign.

Great little characters with uses far wider than KoW. Pretty good value; €20 for 10 figures supplied with optional heads and weapons.

Nice, I'll be backing that.

Oh, you're a talented sculptor!

Would the figures fit & rank up on 20mm or 25mm square bases, or are they better on 40mm bases?

I'm trying to figure out if I have a need & role for these in my armies.  :)

Due to an unfortunate lack of talent I did not sculpt these.
I had not seen a thread about them and thought others may like them as much as I do. Shame the KS is not better publicised as it is struggling a bit.

According to the background on the campaign page the figures are designed to provide figures for a "Scarecrow" unit in the Night Stalkers army for Mantic's Kings of War game.
KOW uses 20mm square bases so these will need to be compatible with that, given the poses I would probably arrange 4 on a 40mm base rather than try and rank up individuals on 20mm.

I want these for skirmish games so will be using 25mm round bases. I have a few Westwind and Chronicle ones already and use them as summoned creatures with Skeleton stats or as Golems. Loads of possibilities for these guys.

Pumpkin heads have a fairly limited market, methinks.

Agreed, although the creator is apparently ignorant of the number of existing pumpkinheads already out there.  Aside from the ones you mentioned, Old Glory has a bunch under their Superfigs range, Reaper has a few, Rapier makes some, and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a couple of other companies.

Conquest as well. These look nice, but they're definitely nowhere near as scarce as the creator makes them sound.

Thanks for the info!

Apparently I'm a lossy student as I didn't figure this out on my own.

Add Acheson to the list, they've got a bunch of scarecrows and pumpkin men (and giant monster versions) in their Kaiju Kaos range.

Heh.  This from a guy who's grousing about negativity on the KS thread you started?  Unless your point is that there are already many figs on the market for this niche and that it'll be hard to sell more - and even then, I'd say these will make their funding goal easily enough.  There clearly is a demand for these style of models or there wouldn't be so many people making similar ones already, the KS ones are sufficiently different from the rest to stand out, and it's certainly the right season for this sort of thing.

You don't think it's a small-ish sized niche?

I think you're being overly negative and you should keep your opinion to yourself.

Ha!  ;D

Did I say anything against épouvantails? Never happened!   :D
