I've just gone live with a 14 day Kickstarter for a 28mm Sci-Fi Dropship / Shuttle / Aerodyne and some miniatures in Spacesuits and Shipsuits.

The Dropship is a multi-material MDF & Resin kit and features a movable rear loading ramp and a removable roof for rear compartment that has room to carry two squads (20 miniatures mounted on 25mm round bases) or a sizable scale tonnage of cargo.

The miniatures are multipart metal and have generic sci-fi and anthropomorphic options.

We are hoping to fund more options during the campaign.

The campaign runs for 14 days until Friday 11th June.

Sure,

The Shuttle is 34cm long, and has space in hold for 20 miniatures mounted on 25mm round bases.

Kickstarter funded, and first stretch goal unlocked.

Very nice! I bought a Soviet 1/48 Foxbat to convert into an Aerodyne, might not have to now :)

Yes, we are offering a Kickstarter deal where we add two free figures to our standard 8 figure unit sets so that you can build a complete Stargrave crew from them.
We also have a wide range of heads styles to choose from.

It's interesting that you have a number of Star Trek inspired heads, any plans to have Trek inspired weapons eg a dustbuster gun? (Think I spotted a Klingon rifle).

We would love to.
It's all dependent on how much support we get, as we need to be able to at least cover our costs.
So far we have a Phaser & Tricorder set of arms, we have a Klingon pistol, knife & bat'leth being sculpted this month. We are asking backers to suggest what additional heads and weapons they would like added for stretch goals / next campaign.

I've recently designed some new pieces for the Terra-Former range to allow building modular space ship, submarine pen, marinas etc.

We've had a few people ask if they can buy the terrain that we've been using for our Hanger Bay photo shoots, so we've put a deal together. The key points are the flexibility of the system, it's got embedded rare earth magnets in the base blocks and the walls, so you can make it bigger, rearrange it, break it down for storage. Since I deigned it, I've used mine for a spaceship hold, a warehouse, a submarine pen, a marina, runway and town base. There is a short YouTube video showing how it all works on my Kickstarter page @

At the weekend I painted up some of the Zero G Haz Suits from our Shuttles & Spacers Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackstone/acp164-shuttles-and-spacers and mounted them on flying bases.

The Spacesuit figures have been designed with an indent underneath tank to facilitate this, or they can be mounted on standard bases.

We are at the back end of the campaign, just three days left to go, so if you've not had a look yet it is open until Friday.

Just a reminder that there are just five hours left if you are interested in being part of the Shuttles & Spacers Kickstarter. The campaign includes a big shuttle with lift of roof and working ramp, 28mm multi-part miniatures in spacesuits and shipsuits plus space ship interior terrain. The miniatures are offered at a kickstarter bonus, 10 in the pack instead of 8 when they go on sale later in year.

Just a quick update to let you know that we have shipped out all of the Kickstarter pledges for Shuttles and Spacers, and that the Aerodyne / Shuttle, spacesuit and shipsuit miniatures together with figure conversion kits for a wide range of aliens are now in stock and ready to order from Sally 4th website.
