Kitbashing the Millennium Falcon

Some years ago a friend gave me this old and battered Millennium Falcon and the advice to "put it to good use". It took a while to ripen but the release of the Rogue Stars rules pushed the right buttons to start kitbashing this venerable toy.
In order to play RS with it, it had to come with an interior of course.

This is how she looked when I was about 14 years old.

What glue did you use to fix the plasticard interior to the hull's plastic?

I have the big Hasbro Millennium Falcon from a couple of years back (it's friggin' huge!), to basically do the same thing you did there; make a playable piece of terrain with working interior.

It's made from the same plastic most of the Kenner vehicles were made of back in the day, and I hear no glue is able to stick to it (it's a popular base with the prop replica people and they blog their builds all over the RPF forums).

It's inspiring to see your work on this venerable machine at any rate...

very nice indeed!!, i started something similar years back, got as far as the whole model being sprayed in gun metal, and finding that the old cobra toy lasercanon thing, when off it's wheeled mount, fits perfectly where the upper quad turret normally goes, to give one hell of a gun (might have to make it an ork ship!) - I'll try and find it and share a pic.
