Hi !

I'm working on some trains for RCW ...

The base are toy trains ...

And now :

(Inspired from Czech's Orlik)

I don't know why but , i would like to call him "Dalek"  lol

The MG turret is a Brigade Game one ...

An MG car :

(Maybe a little too big i must admit , but this will be ok ...)

Other stuff and other pictures :

The rivets are MicroMark and Archer (MicroMark are excellent but you need Microscale MicroSet and MicroSol to apply them correctly)

Otherwise it's card & paper and some detailing parts ...

I have 3 or 4 steam locomotive and a dozen of cars in progress (Among them another artillery car , and some passengers cars) and the tracks (I will ballast glue them on cards , add ballast , and paint ...)

To be continued ...  :)

Good! But it seems to me that the size of the cars needed to be taken smaller.

Very nice, Byblos  :)
"The enemy? His sense of duty was no less than yours, I deem. You wonder what his name is, where he came from. And if he was really evil at heart. What lies or threats led him on this long march from home. If he would not rather have stayed there ... in peace. War will make corpses of us all."

Armored steam locomotive
« Reply #13 on: November 13, 2017, 02:25:43 PM »
Hi !

I made an armored steam locomotive ...

The KitBashed loco :

Rivets by GrandtLine (More than 300 !) , Rivets plates by Tichy Group

With a black coat :

With an Artillery wagon and a flat (Later i will add a second Artillery wagon) :

With troops :

The locomotive is a bit too big but when it will be painted with painted minies on a tabletop this will be OK i think !

The inspiration is an Polish armored locomotive (1919)

I will later make a second one :

(Marked 1940 but used during the RCW in Finland & North Russia)

I will add a second artillery wagon , a second flat , and 2+ more wagons ...
