Medium C "Hornet" (15mm)

This is my 3d-printed 15mm (1:100 scale) model of the Medium C Hornet of 1919.



It was a WW1 design, but didn't make it into service before the Armistice on November 11, 1918. It was intended as the replacement for the Medium A Whippet, a difficult and extremely uncomfortable vehicle to drive, with many flaws.

I also like that your designs educate me in tank design, and this beauty did see some "action":

I'd quite like to do a "male" version, which was supposed to mount a six-pounder in the hull front. However, I can't find any reliable information on how that was configured, so I'd pretty much have to make it up.

Very nice model.

The 6pdr version was never built. Copplestone Castings do it in 28mm.
