Bikerz - question
« on: 18 February 2007, 12:05:05 PM »
Hi guys.
I'm totally new to future wars.
Bought a couple of bikerz yesterday, and I'm looking for some ideas on how to paint the bikes.

Does anyone know of some good links were I can see some nice pics of painted biker gangz?

Try Pappa Midnights gallery at the  Eerie Horror forum. My link to it is not working this Am. I will return later and post the link.

Those bikers ,Papa Midnight, along with that bus look like they could be used in one of your zombie survival games.

Edit: Stupid me, just checked out your gallery and can see that you do use them for zombie survival, sorry!

Thanks for the comments!
Wally, the bikes are HotWheels "BlastLane". You have to dig around a bit to find them as there is normally only one or two in a case of Hotwheels 1:64 cars.
There are other variations but this particular model is about right scale-wise.

Hi Vyper,
The Bikers are a combination of EM4 and Copplestone minis.
The ones mounted on bikes are conversions using the upper bodies with a scratch-built arm to grab the handlebar. The legs ( except for the female) are from old Gorkamorka Orcs. The boots and accessories etc have been carefully cut from the Em4/Copplestone minis and added to the plastic legs so that they match the original mini. It's a lot easier than it sounds!!!!
