The fourth game at our Monthly meeting saw the first run out of my newly finished Russians and Ottomans using Koenig Krieg rules

Nice report Mr Steve.

I also want to say what a joy it was playing the game, and thank you so much for sticking the game on. I had a lot of fun using the Ottoman cavalry.

A good report on your game.
I've never played Koenig Krieg, but it looks fun, and more or less realistic.

As you have figures from By Fire and Sword, have you played that game?
Just curious, as I also have some of them in the Lead Pile, and still have not played the rules.

By Fire and Sword.
Not a set I have played yet although it is a period I am interested in and I have looked at it several times just to keep up to date on whats happening however there's only so many things that I can get around to .
I am now starting to consider what to do next after I finish with the Sikh wars , Teutonic knights v Russians is the first to make the list and maybe Elizabethan Irish but I could be swayed with yet more Ottomans and Poles? or maybe 30 years war.
So I am not too far off the right time period in my deliberations.
Also our club do have a reputation for playing any rules that are available just to see what they are like so I am sure someone will bring it along eventually if I don't .

Excellent scenario and write-up!
And it is a source of inspiration as well!
It was a great game! Cheers!
