Yes, from Gorgon Studios. :D No European distributor though.

Just a reminder not to go too far astray with this. Copplestone's cavemen and "The Croods" are stretching historicity already. If you must use dinosaurs, your project would rather qualify for Pulp or Fantasy adventures. Your call. :)

That is a moderator speech !    :D

Nice idea indeed.....to follow here or in the Pulp forum if you take that way  ;)

Yes, the Copplestone Castings cavemen are yet pulp figures, I included here the post because I've seen the other palaeo diet topic.
Surely I wasn't planning to do some historically accurate cavemen ;) If the moderator want he could include my topic in the pulp forum.

As an alternative apex predator for Palaeo Diet, I painted a plastic toy T-Rex with the "Momma Dino" paint scheme from the cartoon "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs".
I've included a picture of the original pre-painted plastic Toy too.

Really nice effect.  Cavemen, girls in fur bikinis, donosaurs, giant spiders, giant turtles, Pterodactylsall fit in my idea of a paleo-diet games.  As you may guess I'm influenced by the documentaries "1,000,000 Years BC" and "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth".

They are true aren'y they?

Of course they are true, who could invent Raquel.

Shame about the move because there are a couple of nice thread about Palaeo Diet on the Old things board, but I'm pleased it's here rather than fantasy because I rarely go there and would have missed the continuing story.

Nice job with the Dino although apart from the mouth area the toy as originally painted is not too bad from this photo.

At the end of the day it is the moderator's call to move it, but I do tend to agree with you that the internal logic is ... questionable.

This is a great wee project (and exceptionally painted too), and it would have been nice to keep it with the other PDEE posts in the Ancients room.

Really nice little project!

It couldn't feel much more pulpy that that; the only missing bit is a mad scientist with his time travelling machine, but I'm confident you're working on it. That said, to me, many Ancients Hollywood-inspired projects might be equally at home in the Pulp section. I personally don't mind, as I enjoy it when people are stretching the boundaries of predefined genres.

I Could use these miniatures with Pulp Alley too. ;)
In fact these guys could be fine for a "Lost World" background.
I yet played several pulp alley games with my 193X leagues.

They are part of or based on ancient history/mythology. Dinosaurs are not.
If in doubt, take a look at the guidelines included on a few sub-boards (here's the ancients version) or just ask us mods, preferably before posting. ;)

I painted another dinosaur for my palaeo diet games.
This time a styracosaurus that could be a fine giant grazer (with bulk 6).
I painted it ispired by the paint scheme of "ice age: dawn of the dinosaurs" triceratops.
