Ah - yes, the RAFM drones.... need to consider some of those, too....

Also the nightmare robots and runaway robots here could be used:

I considerd the Nightmares last week when I placed an order for two packs of Babylon's Burning Cultists.

Interesting poses - they remind me of the old RAFM Skelbots.

Any idea how they scale with EM-4/Copplestone?

The only one I can find is this one: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=462.0

It contains some great scratch builds and the RAFM Skelbots.

I think that's the one I'm thinking of - it also contains a link to his gallery.

Thanks to Dewbakuk I managed to snag 2 of the 7" Terminator 2 tanks. :)

And having just seen the movie I've been thinking that I need a squad or two of T-600s.

Jotun from Hasslefree looks the part but is way too big.

Any suggestions anyone?

I was thinking off getting some GW Necrons and GW catachan jungle fighters and swopping arms/legs/half heads etc.
Must be somewhere on ebay to buy them cheap

A word of warning, Necrons are huge. Their arms and legs are much longer than human (Catachan) ones. I've seen some nice conversions where the legs and arms have been cut down and reposed but just cut-and-shunting doesn't really work.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Stedley old bean?

Take a look at my thread on this very topic, I went for Doug's stuff through E4M and mix/matched troopers with robots, the effect is quite nice.

HK's from Toy's are us is a good bet, bought two.

I've also got a little something something coming from australia which will definately grace the terminator gaming table, oh and a few T1's as well to use as smaller HK tanks.

Nice.

Hello snakeboy
I'm trying to track down a couple of the T1s at the moment. I liked your EM4 stuff, I thought about using GW stuff just for the ease of cutting and glueing.
I saw some Necrons that had been straightened up by giving them necks and they look pretty good. I didn't realise they were so bloody big!

I know what you mean but you end up with having to use catachan action men which aren't great figures really. I've swapped out robot legs with trooper legs and then gs'ed up the rags etc... Have two infiltrators on the table to paint so will get them done so you can see what I mean.

Re: necrons, yup, they are pretty hunched up as models, they end up towering over most things after a visit to the chiropractor.

With regards to T1's a fellow LAFFer sourced me two from the states and I've got them coming through as soon as he pulls his finger out and pm's me! ;)

I may only need one as I've got one of those HK tanks coming as well so if you're interested I'll bear you in mind.

Vyper.

They are about the right size to convert to something like the Dragonflies from the movie Avatar for 28mm.

Nah got that covered with blackhawks/apaches and some VTOL conversion kits, much nicer and giving that old nam nod we're all looking for with stuff like this rather than built by robots! :D
