Figure with binoculars (28mm)
« on: 07 December 2017, 05:16:26 PM »
Looking for a post-apoc/junktown figure holding binoculars. Something contemorary or near future looking would be best. An arm holding binoculars or just them on an accessory sprue could suffice.

Any suggestion?

There are binoculars on some of the Bolt Action weapons sprues (the Soviets and British both have one iirc)

Thanks! I'd like something more modern-looking than WW2 though...

I seem to recall that there's a pair on one of the Wargames Factory Shock Troops sprues, doesn't appear to be n the standard set I have in front of me so must be Heavy Weapons one
Cheers

My Resistance Recon team has a pair of binoculars: LINK

Edit: If you don't want the figures I'm sure I have a spare of the parts sprue, which includes the binoculars hand, the phone hand and both weapon arms. Happy to sell that for an appropriate fee.

Edit Edit: Or are the binoculars on the head sprue? Can't remember, but it's a separate part anyway...

Aye the Wargames Factory WWII sprues have binoculars as well. TBH in 28mm there's no difference between a period set and an ultra modern one (unless you want to start adding fancy range finders).

I'll second the Tau set. The Pathfinder kit comes with a left arm holding a pair which are perfect for near future / sci fi.

Thanks! Which scale are your minis? I need to convert a Dark Age model (CMoN, no Vikings or Normans, here). While newer sculpts are more proportioned, older one are quite bulky.

The Resistance Fighter range is fairly slender, similar to old Infinity (not old old Infinity, the stuff from just before they went digital). You can see various comparison photos with the Resistance Fighters HERE, just scroll down.
