"You want swords? We got swords! They are shown here without shields so you can see more of the mini - those little hand nubbins are where the shield goes. You can of course file the nubbin down easily to make the mini have no shield.

The vastness of the troops in Freyja's Wrath mean you can build exactly what you want and make units look very different. They're great to mix and match, for example a Hearthguard unit (in SAGA) could be a mixture of the axe and sword armed packs, and warriors could be sword and axe tunic packs, with the odd spear thrown in too!

The Kickstarter launches in almost exactly a week (23rd January) so keep tuned!"

Wow, these are great! I had sent you a photo of Brunhild statue a couple of years ago, the one where she is wearing a hauberk, conical helm and spear while lamenting that o. These figures l have that look, definitely much much better than chain mail bikinis. This is great work and a great project.

I have not backed a Kickstarter for ages, as I have been disappointed in the past with quality/delivery times, but I think that will change with this one, already have some of your figures, so know the quality, love the animals - and my partner as seen and loves the Meese ( plural of moose in our household  ) and Beavers - so for the same reason I bought Hobbits riding chickens, will need to buy them too.

So now just waiting for it to come up and see how poorer I become

Lick my hand! Paul Cubbin has been with Bad Squiddo since Day One and we're still amazed by his incredible brushwork. As soon as I saw the sculpt (by Shane Hoyle), I knew Paul would do a brilliant job of "filthing it up". He never fails to impress!
