Love the figure - yet another must-have for my hunting party. Not too sure about the puttees though - I might have to rework those.

Nice figure but something about the legs is bothering me.

Edit - Got it! The crotch area of his trousers is around his knees. If we could see his waist he'd look like those idiots who walk around showing their boxer shorts to the world thinking they look good....

I think most Ironclad minis have a slight tendency towards short limbs. Makes their clothing seem a bit too large - but especially for military minis that is not so bad. We have a saying in Denmark: 'In the military you have 2 sizes of clothing: too Large, and Way Too Large'.

Concerning Quartermain, he could just be wearing very loose trousers for comfort out in the bush....

I got him in the mail today, and I like the mini, even with this little peculiarity. but it's probably a matter of (perhaps bad) taste on my parts  ;)

I don't think he has short limbs, the waist is fairly obvious. His trousers just seem to be falling down.

He has those plus sixes special made in Saville Row with extra room for the Quartermain Jewels.

You just have to know it wasn't his cultured demeanor that caught the eye of Mina Harker.

I do like the figure.

Good looking mini.  Is the rifle modeled on a particular historical firearm?  The fore stock seems foreshortened.  To me it seems that the rifle would be peculiarly balanced and be vulnerable to rough handling in the field.

Although I agree that his crotch is too low, it's still a great mini.  I'll definately be throwing him into my intended order.  Nice job Ironclad.

I think we're forgettting that that's just how old guys wear their pants. JollyBob Senior has much the same sartorial problem, much to the shame of The Mother.

Good figure overall, though.  :)
