photobucket alternatives?

So just recently noticed you need to have a payed membership now to share your photobucket pictures. So what are our alternatives that still let you link photos into posts?

I use Flickr - seems to work fine and costs nothing.

We have some 200 posts about the matter here. My concise piece of advice is still that all free services may (and, indeed, will) be discontinued at some point, and you cannot claim anything else than your money back. Keep backups, keep them well sorted.

I also stick to the points I made in this post. Maybe harsh, maybe true too? You decide.

Although I have been posting most of my stuff to my blog I have also been using Imgur. The small print says 'no hotlinking' but I suspect that they only really go after you if you are really obnoxious about it. Besides, there is a drop down menu for share link options; if they don't want people to do that, then why have the option .
