The citizens of Necromunda primarily subsist on Corpse Starch. And what is in Corpse Starch, you ask? Well, anyone who hijacks this delivery vehicle will find out, but they would be ill advised to do so.

First nights work completed. I am making two vehicles so that if I make a mess of one, I at least have another to complete and enter.
So far all I have done is some of the basic structure of the delivery vehicles. Yes, they do look a bit like the Mystery Machine.

Tonight: the hull between the cab and the load bed done, as well as the windscreen.

Thanks Johnnytodd. I know it's not a huge project, but I am finishing off a scratchbuilt Baneblade at the same time, as well as trying to paint my Christmas haul, so I didn't want to take on something too big and struggle to complete it.

Hi ichwillauch. I used a printed-out template for a childish looking garbage truck paper model which I glued to the material I am using (it is actually a kind of vinyl-type board). I then just cut over the lines with a steel rule and a sharp hobby knife with a very small blade (making multiple passes going deeper every time). Once complete, I peel off the paper from the vinyl.
No progress on this build tonight as I am hoping to get my Baneblade super-heavy tank complete in the next few days so I can start painting it.

Tonight I managed to do a lot of detailing: tailgates, lights, grilles, wheel arches, etc. Hopefully I'll be able to start doing the cargo in the next few days.

Not a whole lot of work tonight: all I did was build up layers of scraps with wood glue on the interior of the vehicles to add strength to the structure.

Looking good - and I think the reinforcement phase is one of the more important, incidentally, as it can save a whole lot of frustration when a model falls apart if this is not done.

Thanks Vanvlak. Yeah, better to spend a bit of time now strengthening the thing rather than doing damage to it later (and it gives me something to do with all the off-cuts).
Anyway, tonight's progress: a little bit of detailing (including door handles) and wheels. I also came up with a simple way to do wing mirrors. Glue is busy drying so I will see how the prototype looks tomorrow.
