Just sent in my second entry, I made the picture yesterday and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. My only problem is that I don't know how to top this one

Hopefully I'll get some more painting done over the weekend for round 3, I'm really enjoying this

Well allthough it's a rush, round 2 is done

The picture should be a bit sharper this time due to the use of a light tent. Onwards to the next round!

Chemistry -

Materials engineering at this end, with casting and heat treatment furnaces, an ion implanter, a physical vapour deposition machine and a nice old 9kW laser - the Dewars come as supporting cast

Just a reminder that if you wish to enter a new or substitute team into round 2, I need to receive your entry by 0700 GMT tomorrow, Sunday 26th April.

Which is about 22 hours away!

The round 1 entries of contestants who do not send a replacement team, will continue into round 2 and be rematched against a different opponent.

Entries to lpleague3@yahoo.co.uk stating the name of your entry and your LAF username.

Also stating whether the team is newly painted / previously unpublished or not.

The turf is drying on my second entry...I'll shoot some pictures tonight and send them to the Captain.
I'm really happy with them! They turned out the way I wanted them to be and I can really use them too. Yeah!

I'm so jealous ! I think it's the hardest part to get with painting : this achievement feeling.

And I'm far from it just now...

Meanwhile, thanks to some help from Tippex (the cat) who froze them in one spot with his baleful stare, the photo for the week 2 lot has been taken and submitted. Trouble is that they were trembling so hard (Tippex is GOOD at brushing models away with his paws!) I had trouble getting them in focus!

My entry for the second round is in. Still rushing to make up for the time I lost in the (very busy) last two weeks? Those figures were supposed the be for round 5 but I had nothing else on my painting table that I could finish in time for round 2 so?
