WW2 / the skirmish envelope
« on: April 21, 2009, 01:57:12 PM »
so if anyone read my other thread about the skirmish envelope article in wargames illustrated they will know i plan on making a small easy quick skirmish game (for use with 20mm to x sized minis)

i was thinking. since i have my studies and can't completely focus on this piece. we could make it a community project?
so first off, we need a name!

i was thinking of a few things.
> it could be in German
> it could just be plain funny (ironic black comedy etc)
> plain with a good slogan
> a play on words.

a lot of good names for games are mixture of the above usually.
most of all it needs to be original.
so who's in? they needn't do much.
just add comment and criticize wherever possible.
we already have the heart of the game in the WI article!

so please lets get going  :D ;)

well the design is basically to be as realistic as possible. like in the article, mini's jumo into the nearest cover instinctively when under fire rather than standing and shooting back.

so in other words. realistic play.

If you are aiming for realistic play and you aren't too Fat Lardies...  lol  dump any funny name... you want a title that convey your aim.

It will be infantry skirmish? Will have vehicles, emphasis will be on morale, weaponry or command and control?
