A bit late to the party but I will echo everyone's thanks to Alex for creating a sane, relaxed and mature environment where people can trade advice and banter in a civilised manner.

As for the future, I'm confident the forum will keep its identity as long as the current moderators remain on board and keep up their sterling work. Nick, just retain the strict 'no politics' rule and proactive, balanced moderation, maintain the LAF's zero tolerance policy toward trolls, blowhards and troublemakers and all will be well, I think.

Raising a toast to the Prof. I do not post much, but thoroughly enjoy the inspirational topics I have been amazed by over the years. This has become my favorite forum to visit for inspiration and eye candy.  This is the most gentlemanly, well moderated site I have seen. Take a rest and enjoy it, you certainly deserve it. Many thanks. We all wish you the best in the future. Captain Blood in particular is at fault for the decrease in funds and increase in my wife's aggravation levels. If Nick does half as well as Alex has, this place will continue well into the future. Hats off to all involved in making this such an enjoyable experience.
