Thanks all. It’s coming together rather well though every time I look at it “I wonder if maybe I should xxxxx”. At the moment I’m wondering whether or not I should put maybe a timber outbuilding in the large dirt yard behind the pub (The Rainbow) opposite the church.

Btw the 10 manhole covers are there as spawn points for vampires. Maybe one day they’ll connect to another level that is a sewer system.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Sewers? What a marvellous idea. I can see a market for those. ;)

  • Can I give you a piece of my mind?
One of the best threads I've ever seen here!

After 2 years, a few of the links in the beginning of the thread are bad.

any chance on getting a post with links to the various buildings / companies producing stuff.

Thanks very much  :)

The basic product is from OSHIROmodelterrain, whose website can be found here:

https://oshiromodels.wixsite.com/oshiromodelswebshop

If you head over to the Victorian page in their webshop, you’ll find both the building kits (I’ve had a fair few base kits customised) and  the Highgate Miniatures range of vampire genre minis.

Hope that helps as a quick response.  :)

Some progress with the first of the residential tiles.

Inspiration:

After I’ve fitted the windows/doors and assembled the roofs, I’ll probably move into the other residential tile.

That looks great.  Is every cobblestone street hand made?

Thanks and yes, every cobble in the project is ‘handmade’. It’s so that my mini bases and the terrain will match. It’s not as difficult or as time consuming as it might seem but I am getting through a lot of Milliput! I made a stamp for a single cobble, so it’s just a matter of patiently impressing over and over and over and over again.  :D

Thanks chaps  :)

(Btw Guy, that was an impressive witticism  lol)

I hope I get to play on it before you get bored and sell it on ;) lol

It’s inconceivable that I might sell this one .... it combines too many hobbies and interests. That, and it ties with some of my ancestral roots (Whitechapel, not Vampires  ;)).
