28 mm pulpy terrain

I want to make some terrain and I need poster and promotion marker  of the 20 or 30 years .
Did some one have a Idea were I can find some in the net  ?

I also looking for 28mm sreet lantern´s

0ne last question  to all the US guys .
in the 20/30 what kind of tarmac where common in the Big citys ?
I mean things like cobblestone or tar.

For Posters you can check out this site. You'll have to do some digging. But they also offer European posters if you're interested.

I use O scale steet lights for model railroading for my city terrain.

And the tarmac was usally a black tar. Side streets in old neighborhoods may have had cobblestones.

If you select Black and White photographs and then put 1920s or 1930s in the search field, you can dig up all kinds of cool images to reference.

I use it for clothing, cities, buildings, cars, etc.

Poor neighborhoods still had cobblestone or brick pavement. In Baltimore, it was mostly brick rather than cobblestone.

There is one street in Baltimore that got paved in glassphalt--a mixture of tar and broken glass! There was some talk of replacing it a few years ago, and the neighborhood had a fit. It was a public works project during the Depression and is something of a local landmark--nobody wanted to lose it.

If you need some US-style streetlights, let me know. I can pick them up for you. If you want to try your luck, the ones by Model Power are cheapest and work fine.

Steve Barber has 28mm grabage cans in his Prohibition Era line.

Bob Murch has a police call box and a fire plug but they only come as part of his Cops packs.

A police call box was a telephone in a locked box that went to the police station. They were either mounted on the wall of a building or on a metal pole like a lamp post.

Depending on how "fussy" you are, the Black Cat garbage cans would not work for pulp. Only metal cans with no plastic trash bags would have been used.
