Mos Vegas? You'll need a Spacelvis singing "Don't Step on My Blue Space Shoes"

(and I have already got a 15mm Spacelvis...)
"It's only a flesh wound...."

Thanks  :)

So, like the butterfly I am I’ve started to wander  :D Every space port needs cargo and all cargo needs haulers. I’ve got plenty of cargo cast up but no way of transporting it around.

To begin with I had three arrangement options...

In the end I went for option three (option one was a possibility but the arrangement for three seemed the better one). So after deciding which one to go for I did a very quick iPhone sketch for the superstructure. Engines to the right, cockpit to the left.

The rear engine section has been roughed out (the two black circles are for the engine placement) and the main support beam for the cargo is in place.

Also, I’ve decided to magnetise the cargo pods. Small magnets have been drilled into the ‘top’ of the pods and corresponding magnets have been glued into the support beam.

There will be little brackets attached to the support beam to help keep the pods regular and to also add detail. I’ll rough out the cockpit area next and then work on the superstructure for the beam.

It will inevitably be reminiscent of these. Not that that's a bad thing!  :)

What about instead of a skimmer or ship, what about doing a cargo version of one of these....

They made a cargo version of the AT-AT in Rogue One, so why not one of an Imperial Juggernaut? It would make a good plot point for your games too!....raid the Imperial convoy. The piece you’ve made could easily be adapted to make it. Just go with the same design aesthetic as your cargo hauler, a main backbone, with a cockpit section at the front and a boxy bit at the back.

Quite possibly but the front of mine will/should be quite tall  :)

What about instead of a skimmer or ship, what about doing a cargo version of one of these....

I did think of a wheeled/tracked version but given the terrain on Tatooine I thought a ship would be more practiced. It can also be used for space actions which are an intention at some point (using the Bandai 1/72 ships).

I’ve always fancied making a 28mm jugganaught but it would be huge lol
