Thanks chaps  :)

The cliff has hardboard edges so I can replicate them and do a similar thing that the good Dr has done here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=105875.180

Might look at a landing platform next week  :D

 ;)

Temptation has taken the better of me and made me start on a landing pad for Endor. It’ll be a corner piece with only two ‘jetties’ but with a possible potential for adding more if I can be bothered. The AT-AT is the crappy Revell one but after a bit of tarting up and fixing of the dodgy legs it’ll be fine.

Top half of the tube needs sorting as well as the pad itself. The jetty roofs are removable to allow for painting and there is a possibility of getting lighting in there  :?

The tube will be panelled and there will be a door at the bottom. I think I might leave it without a base so it can be used in Tatooine and other locals.

That's a cracking build grommit

Won't that make it a bit unstable?  Could you do a base for Endor and a base for Tatooine that has a post/receptor that the tower slides over and attaches to?

I know at least one clumsy oaf that's likely to knock it over mid game if it's not stable  ;) lol

Very nice - I look forward to this being painted (and lights!).

Though little disappointed, I read the thread title as "Endor love pad".

The right honerable gentleman has a good point! Especially if you’re going to add a platform above and place your delicate Imperial Shuttle up there! :o

Just remember.....Wargamers are clumsy! It only takes a jumper or a misplaced jacket pocket( ::)) to bring down and break it ALL back to its constituent parts! :'( :'( :'(

So.......when are you building a Death Star to hover above the table? ;)

He can just shave his head and paint that.. :D

The pad and the rest of Endor looks great. You should build some of the Ewok traps.

Cheers fellas  :)

I've got some weights to go in the bottom but multi bases could be an option.

Though little disappointed, I read the thread title as "Endor love pad".

Who know's what those furry little buggers get up to  lol

Tee-hee-hee! He’s finally caved! lol

You're a bad man  lol

I've got part of a large dome that could be hung from the ceiling  lol

You should build some of the Ewok traps.

I've had it mind and certainly a catapult should be done  :)

Great work :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
Looking forward to seeing some lights on it and a landing pad for a shuttle
Is the tube hollow? Could you not make a base that will fit inside what you have already built that can slide over a smaller diameter tube fitted to the base, one jungle and one desert?
