Your ability to assemble a realistic-looking mechanical construction from odds and ends never ceases to amaze me  8) :-*

Glad to see that you have added 'Digglers Place' to the set-up.

Belated thanks chaps  :)

I got a few more 1:1000 ships done for a bit of a photo shoot for a particular supplement that will be out soon...

The CR90's are the Bandai ones and the fighters are from Shapeways that I got years and years ago. They are no longer available (I didn't look that hard to be honest) so I've started to draw my own that I'll print up. The trouble with these imp ships is that there's no interior wing detail, so I left them blank.

I've got a fair few rebel ships but only the x-wings are painted for now. I had more of the normal ties but they're very fragile and I broke a good eight or nine of them drilling the mounting holes  ::)

for a sense of scale, the Nebulon-B is 300mm long, the x-wings are around 13mm long and the fighter bases are 25mm square (although I need to do some bigger ones as they are a bit small).

Amazed how good this looks! It’s pretty impressive to have these grasshoppers (I‘m referring to the X-Wings) fly next to real space ships.

Cheers fellas  :)

What rules are you going to use for them?

Both yours and FFoL. The fighters are based for both (although the bases need to be a bit bigger).

Hi Jim.  I've not followed LAF closely for a long time, so I'm finding all these great threads I haven't seen before.  This is brilliant work.  I've so far avoided the Star Wars tractor beam but you don't make it easy.  Must stay focussed... :D
