Cheers fellas  :)

I'm telling ya, you need an alternative top with plants so that you can place it inside the entrance to your house. Folks will go nuts when they see it!  ;)

Won’t fit with the decor  ;)

Apologies if I’ve missed it but do you have a crane you’re going to adapt or are you going to scratch build?

Scratchbuild would’ve more fitting I think.

I really like the TIE-kicking pose!
 :D :D :D
And I appreciate the complete madness of the build. It is so nuts that it could be my own idea…  lol

 :D

Started work on the upper hull. Still plenty to do before even thinking about primer. Lots of interior detail and of course the cockpit windows. The cream cylinder is to represent the cranes rotating mechanism and is a mis-cast of SFA09 from the sci-fi section of the webshop. There will be other webshop bits to go in as well as piping and general clutter. There will be 'slab' about 10mm thick to go on this (same profile) before the crane housing goes on but I'll get all the upper chassis done first before moving onto the crane. The slab will be magnetised to allow access and the crane housing will also be removable as it would be good to potentially have it on a building.

Ignore the 1/2/3 blocks are they are supporting it due to the gubbins hanging down underneath  :)

There'll also be a balcony on the back to add a bit of visual (and potential gaming) interest.

Thanks again  :)

Did a quick bit of gubbins work for the interior. Still some of the middle ‘room’ to do and the cockpit. I think I might print something in resin for the cockpit controls  ???

The frosted plate will be stuck on permanently and the 10mm ‘slab’ will be magnetised to it.

Not all the bits are stuck yet as it’ll be easier to paint them separately.
