Some of the best wood I've seen in a while on display there, both raw and painted-over.

I can only add my laudations to the pile, it oozes character and is an excellent set-piece. The effort you put in was well rewarded I'd say.

Amazing! That's a brilliant bit of work!

It's a superbly evocative creation too - it oozes narrative.

I quite agree with Hobgoblin. Cracking job!

That War Wagon is great.

Just reading Warriors of God, and war wagons make appearances.

Thanks very much everyone. It was a labour of love for sure. Really looking forward to fielding it in its painted form at Britcon.

Here is a quick snap of (most of) the force the Black Order will send to Britcon - as well as a little sneak preview of a new toy! I'm really excited to take some much better, Breazer-esque staged pics...

So, I'm going to my first Saga event in two days! I'm going to Sagageddon at Britcon, in Nottingham, UK, on Saturday and I need themed objective markers per the event pack. I've been thinking for a while what Black Order objective markers might look like, and with Saga's generously sized objectives (40mm, or thereabouts) I thought I'd have some fun.

I love the imagery of tattered banners and bloody flags looming over a battlefield, ever since I first played Myth: The Fallen Lords as a child, so I had to go with something evoking this theme.

So with that in mind, I've started to come up with some objective markers. Here are the first two banners, with a vignette from Reconquer Designs providing a great base for a (light) kitbash.

I assume banners are for the actual game, or just objectives and such?  You're still doing Saga or what-have-you as your game of choice, right?
