This reads like a book I would very much enjoy reading. Can't wait for the next report.

Also...know I need to pick up Rangers of Shadowdeep.

Awesome work.  Colour me enthused for a game I really didn't know all that much about before now.

Cheers Olsson. Big fan of your work as well, glad to see you're back in the saddle :)

Thanks mate - it's coming! Glad you're enjoying it so far.

High praise indeed Rick, cheers mate - glad you're enjoying it. Hope to improve along the way.

Yeah, RoSD passed me by initially as well. I think it requires a bit more 'work' than other wargames in the sense that you really need a fully modelled board + bestiary of enemies, but it's great fun to play with a friend or solo.

Great stuff! The game and presentation is first class!

Another Young Frankenstein fan I see ;) Cheers!

Thanks! Hope you enjoy the next ones. :)

_________

While taking a break from pulling together the next report, I needed a break from painting all of those green and brown undead. So naturally I painted some green and brown forest spirits. Who may, or may not, also be considered undead.

I didn't say logic was a strong motivator in my hobby ;)

To echo the above sentiment, they look stellar. The woodsy/skeleton aesthetic has been really striking recently, or atleast I've seen it around a lot, especially over in the AoS28 camp. I really need to buy that GW skull pack at some point, the bird skulls in particular have something really captivating about them. Good for variation too, could maybe even use these as part of the Darkroot somehow, once you get to that stage.

Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks a bunch, all :)

Cheers mate. You read my mind, using them as part of the Darkroot is definitely the idea.

The GW skull set would definitely suit your style - particularly the scratchbuilt golems and other constructs you've been working on!

Finished the Restless Ones. Had a lot of fun painting these and they're so easy to do!
