LAF is back!

Dear Lead Adventurers,

LAF's back! You know, my web service provider last week has locked the database of LAF due to the high traffic. Now I've rented a server for us and hope that will be enough for the next years

The old database was imported from old to the new server, that was a lot of manual work, therefore it took so long to relaunch LAF.

I would like to thank all the members who contributed to the costs of the server. I've got about 700 EUR! Wow!

Now I feel oblidged to tell you about the costs of the server:

set-up - 100 EUR
monthly rent - 80 EUR

so I have enough money to pay set-up and next 7,5 months Thanks again! You're really great

At this point big sorry to all the members and especially Lead Painters League participants for that LAF-down-accident.

Being in IT myself I know how much effort and time this would have taken on your part, even with the co-operation and support of the Hosting company.  The fact that you undertook this work whilst having to travel abroad for your job is simply incredible. 

Your dedication to LAF, as the short timescale of this recovery demonstrates, is quite remarkable.  Bravo.
