Has probably been discussed here before, but couldn't find it.
Who makes buffalos in 28mm?

Dixon had some in their Old West range.  Old Glory, too, in the Cowboy Wars range.

Old Glory for another, but there's a huge difference in size.  Old Glory's are monsters, in comparison to Dixon's.  Might be useful for the mystical White Buffalo, though.

On a not entirely unrelated note (in evolutionary terms, at least), what about cattle? I realize that this is one that's probably come up before as well, but if Old Glory have them too, then my problems are solved - Buffalo and Cattle (long-horn or otherwise) will both come from the same source!

So, it looks like Britannia wins - but do they sell/ship to the US, or do they have a US distributor?

I'll use my google-fu to check, and I'm hoping they do. Thanks for the info, all!

Monday Knight Productions does a buffalo also. I use a number of toy buffalo figures, the size & look is good Just need to paint over the cartoonish faces that seem to be painted on most of them. I am planning a buffalo hunt game for LOTOW, I have 14 various figures mostly toys & a couple of the Monday Knight Productions figures. I think the 'Tube of the West' Buffalo is the best. But you only get one in a tube of other western toys that are not much use for $4.99.

Hmm, must look for those in the new bags that have replaced the Toobs in our K-Mart, equivalent of Wal-mart.
Cheers,
