Presumably you play The Carpenters' 'Jambalaya' on a loop for atmosphere. I can't think of anything more authentically Cajun than The Carpenters.

@Luisito: First, I painted the whole board with dark green tinting color from my lokal DIY-store. Afterwards, I sprayed circles from a medium distance with a medium olive tone and a light green tone. After drying the board was sealed with three layers of glossy finish.


@Cubs: To be honest, I've been humming Warrant's "Uncle Tom's Cabin" *) for the last three days while building the terrain, but unfortunately my gaming mates don't appreciate Hair Metal. I will probably use Hayseed Dixie as our gaming soundtrack. But thanks for the advice, maybee I will give the Carpenters a try.


*) The lyrics give me the goose bumps…

My third posse (Twilight Order) is almost finished. Ladies an Gentlemen, would you please welcome the Holy Order of St. Patrick!

Hope you like them. I have gathered this posse for the Forbidden Power campaign, where they have fought two battles yet. While they performed very good in the first scenario (against woodland skinwalkers), I had bad luck between the scenarios (my former leader perished) and they got beaten up badly in the second scenario (mythos creatures kept spawning near my main force and I missed my opportunity fire too often).

After some serious health problems I am finally back to the hobby. At the moment I am working on a kin posse called "The Weasleys". They are all red haired, of Course...

Great work, Nightpaw - thanks for sharing.  I love the mine - that is a very "playable" board.  The water on the swamp board came out beautifully.

Good luck to your posse.  Sounds like they have had a bit of a rough time.
